January Newsletter.
Welcome back to everyone after what I hope was a wonderful Christmas and New year!. We were excited to hear all about the celebrations that the children had and it seems that all of them were on the ‘Good’ list this year!! A big thank you to all of the children for a wonderful Christmas performance again this year, with beautiful singing
Topics/Themes
This term we will be investigating winter animals and their habitats, we will look at animals that like the cold weather and where they live. We will be making bug houses to protect the insects that we find in the garden and making sure that the birds are fed through the winter. We will be using the school wildlife area to support their learning, using investigative resources to help us. We are looking at the changing weather and what we can wear or do to keep us warm. The children are also making a graph depicting the weather every day. We will also be focusing on transient art with the children in the coming weeks, we will be using lots of different resources from our environment to create art, both inside and out. Transient art is highly involving for the children and enables them to adapt and revisit their ideas over time. We will be displaying pictures of their work in Preschool.

**Allergy advice**
Thanks again for your continued support regarding Nut allergies. To ensure that our children are safe at all times can you please ensure that you do not send in food containing nuts or products that say they may contain nuts.
Can you please ensure that all uniform, lunch boxes and drinks bottles are named clearly to ensure that they go home with the correct families. Can you please check that you don’t have a sweatshirt labelled Evie Bird, as this has gone astray.
