FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER

Topics
23rd February 2015- The children are enjoying lots of different activities and experiences concentrating on our topic of Colour this week. We are introducting lots of fun activities each day incorporating a different colour to engage the children and open up lots of opportunities for discussion and discovery.
Monday- we have focused on red
Tuesday- we will be looking at yellow
Wednesday- we will be talking about green
Thursday- we will be looking at blue
Friday- A multi coloured day!! We would love the children to come dressed up in lots of colourful multi coloured clothes so that we can discuss what we have learnt this week!
We will then be concentrating on some of our favourite stories for World Book Day next week and parents/carers are invited throughout the week to come and share stories-maybe your child’s favourite at home!!
We will keep you updated on the children’s interests this half term and what we will be planning to support their ideas and investigations.
Thank you…….
Our valentine’s cake sale was a great success and we raised the sum of £44.18.
A big thank you to all the parents who donated cakes. We will use the money to buy some new water toys.
