November 2017 newsletter

November Newsletter.

After a lovely half term break we welcome everyone back to our favourite half term of the year! The glitter and sparkles will be making their way into everything we do as we approach our Christmas party and performance!!

Topics/Themes    This half-term we have been looking at Bonfire Night, making patterns and investigating colour mixing, we have been hearing tales of the events that the children have been to and how exciting it was! We have loved hearing about their Halloween celebrations also and if you have any photos you would like to share of the children dressed up or with their decorations we would love to see these. You can either bring them in or email them to and we can share them. We will be looking at Winter and Christmas themes and we will be practicing our Christmas songs and getting ready to show off our singing at our Christmas play which will be held on Monday morning on the 18th December

The children are busy designing their own Christmas cards at the minute. These will then be available to purchase in packs of 4, 8 or 12. To view your child’s art work please ask a member of staff. Order forms will be in your child’s tray.

Job Sharing!

Would you be able to come in to pre-school and share your job with the children? Talk about your role and duties? If you are able to join us please speak to a member of staff.

Please ensure that you regularly check your child’s tray in pre-school as all important correspondence will be placed in there.

Thank you.

We are in need of donations of old kitchen roll middles, small boxes and any old Christmas wrapping paper for our Christmas craft activities. We will gladly accept any donations!

Now that the colder weather is upon us please ensure your child comes to pre-school with the appropriate clothing for the weather that day.
We have free flow inside and outside all day so make sure they have plenty of warm layers and a hat.
